Day-Wise ItineraryDay 1: Bagdogra Airport to Phuentsholing Drive through scenic landscapes from Bagdogra to the border town of Phuentsholing. Check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the local surroundings.
Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu After permit processing, visit Kharbandi Gompa / Milerapa Lhakhang. Drive to Thimphu via Gedu (9,000 ft), viewing the Chukha Dam and stopping at Wankha Waterfalls. Overnight in Thimphu. Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha (via Dochula Pass) Drive across Dochula Pass (3,150m) for mountain vistas. Continue to Punakha to visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple), Pho Chhu & Mo Chhu rivers, Punakha Dzong, and the Suspension Bridge. Overnight in Punakha. Day 4: Punakha – Phobjikha Valley Excursion – Punakha Day trip to Phobjikha Valley, the winter home of migrating Black-Necked Cranes. Visit the historic 17th-century Gangtey Monastery before returning to Punakha for the night. Day 5: Punakha to Paro (via Thimphu Sightseeing) Visit Handicraft Emporium, Simply Bhutan, Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, and Takin Reserve in Thimphu. Drive to Paro via Chuzom confluence and Tachogang Temple. Overnight in Paro. Day 6: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Hike – Paro Hike up to the cliffside Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). Later, visit Paro Dzong and the National Museum of Bhutan. Overnight in Paro. Day 7: Paro Sightseeing to Phuentsholing Visit Nyamai Zam Bridge, Rinpung Dzong, National Museum, Kyichu Lhakhang, and the Paro Airport viewpoint. Drive back down to Phuentsholing for overnight stay.
Day 8: Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Airport After breakfast, drive back to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your onward departure.
